Join us September 5th from 10:30 am – 12 pm on the farm to learn about European honeybees and native Ohio pollinators and help us harvest our honey!
This program will explore the important relationship between pollinators and our food. There will be an opportunity to taste the fruits (or vegetables) of the bee’s hard-work in the Tasting Garden.
Did you know a bee’s job changes as it grows older? We will learn about a bee’s life and life in the hive. Bees aren’t the only pollinators flying around, the world of native pollinators and their special roles within our ecosystems will be presented.
The cost is $10 per attendee, children younger than 2 years are free. This program is for life-long learners of all ages!
