Bring the whole family to Learning Tree Farm for an entire month of Spring adventures! Starting on May 8th, each week will feature a new theme to explore on the farm filled with games, take-home crafts, exploratory interactions, and demonstrations!
One $40 ticket covers your immediate family members for not only the event but free admission for the entire month!
*We encourage families to attend on the weekends when we will have the crafts out on tables. If you come during a weekday please find a staff person who will check you in and give you your craft for the week.
In this fun, interactive week, families will focus on what life was like for the pioneer family that settled here! Visitors will have the opportunity to see sheep shearing* and have a chance to work with wool! You’ll also try your hand at some of the farm chores by working with wheelbarrows and going through our fun simulations of farm work!
In Week 2, our farm babies are front and center! Visitors will jump, hop, and crawl their way through our farm-animal-themed obstacle course that will focus on animal movements!
We’ll exercise our creative minds by creating farm-animal masks and enjoy the babies throughout the farm.
In our third week, we’re focusing on cycles! Your family will go on a scavenger hunt to learn about the different cycles on Earth and find them right on the farm!
We’ll also have a fun recycling activity that is suitable for all ages and take part in a planting craft that you can take home and continue to enjoy!
What a fun month we’ve had on the farm. It’s almost time for summer, but just because spring is coming to a close, doesn’t mean we stop growing! Families will create a take-home nature journal and go on a journey through our woods! While you’re in the woods, you’ll have the opportunity to break a hidden code and earn a prize!
